About

hey there mama!

Elise here - a pretty average, suburban working mom with far too much on my plate at any given moment. My best friend is Logan (we get married in just a few short months - finally!), and I have two littles - Olivia Claire (2 ½) and Emilia June (3 months). Our ironically similar fur boys, Romeo and Spencer (I brought Romeo into the relationship, Logan brought Spencer) round out our family of six, and we live in a house I spent hours and hours - days, really - dreaming up and planning for just outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

I own Elicity Public Relations, a small, boutique publicity firm specializing in press strategy for just about anything music related - artists, businesses, and events (yes, I have met Blake Shelton. No, I was not invited to his wedding with Gwen Steffani. But I’ll let it slide…).

I can be fancy with the best of ‘em. But, really, I’m my most comfortable in leggings and an oversized sweater with my hair up and a latte in-hand. Just call me your basic bestie. I have no idea how to do my makeup, the inside of my car has an uncanny resemblance to the inside of my purse, I burn just about everything I put in the oven (if anyone reading this has mastered the broil setting, please hit up ya girl over here…), spit up has become an everyday accessory, I’ve decided goldfish crackers are an acceptable breakfast, I cuss (*GASP* - listen, as I tell my mom all the time - if cussing is the worst thing I do, and it is, she’s raised one hell of a daughter…), my sense of humor is inappropriate at best…

I’m at a point in my life where I genuinely don’t know what day it is, or how old I am (35 - I
think) - the overwhelm is real. I try hard to be loyal, loving, thoughtful, and kind - and sometimes, just like anyone else, I fail. I’m hard on myself (you’re also talking to my worst critic), and there are so many things I’d like to change about myself.

Any of this sound familiar? Am I right to think we might be similar?

I have an incredible tribe of family and friends, and I’m looking to expand that tribe. I certainly don’t claim to have all the answers (not even close), but if you’re looking for a second opinion on how to deal with a difficult situation, ideas on things to do with your toddler during a pandemic (Lord knows, we could all use more of those), or a simple chili recipe - I’m your person!

Let’s learn from each other, and build lives we - despite the occasional struggle - can fall for, day after day.

Where to?
